In keeping with our Mission to create a resilient, regenerative local food system, Grow Local Greenwood Lake has brought the Lakeside Farmers Market under it's umbrella.
Lakeside Farmers Market has a full complement of vendors including naturally grown vegetables, fruitsepirits, prepared foods, soaps and personal products, and other hand-crafted items. Most vendors are there every week but we have guest pop-ups every week too. We also host non-profit organizations weekly to bring important information and fun to our market. In addition to the offerings of our vendors, we will be coordinating special events, entertainment, demonstrations, and other activtities. We are located in Winstanley Park, next to CVS and across the street from Chase Bank. You’ll find plenty of parking on the street or in adjacent lots.
We are also a Food Scrap Collection site for compost for the Common Ground Garden and Community Garden so please collect and bring your food scraps every week. Learn about Composting.
We have a special program called Market Bucks that provides $5 vouchers to folks through the GWL Food Pantry, GWL Senior Center, GWL American Legion and Warwick VFW. Patrons/members of those organizations are able to pick up Market Bucks at those locations to use on all food and personal products.
